Accepted Payment Methods
Big Dig USA accepts the following payment methods:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Shop Pay (Shopify's accelerated checkout)
- PayPal (where available)
All transactions are processed in United States dollars (USD).
Payment Security
We do not store payment card information on our servers. All payment transactions are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors, including Shopify Payments and Stripe. Your card details are encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption and handled exclusively by the payment processor.
When You Are Charged
Your payment method is charged in full at the time you place your order. We do not use pre-authorizations, holds, or delayed billing.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and applied where required by law. Tax rates vary by state, county, and municipality. You are responsible for any use tax owed to your jurisdiction on purchases where we are not required to collect sales tax.
Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, we cannot process your order. Common reasons for declines include insufficient funds, incorrect card or billing information, international card restrictions on US merchants, and bank fraud-prevention holds. Contact your bank or try an alternate payment method.
